Position Summary

Directs the Apprenticeship Programs and supports the Leadership Development Program for Housing Facilities. Oversees the design and implementation of lesson plans, instructional methods, and training materials that support the Housing Facilities Career Progression Program. Participates in departmental management by recommending resource allocation and proposing new or enhanced programs. Provides ongoing feedback to the Director of USC Housing Facilities, Operations and Maintenance to promote employee growth and development.

Assists with additional training initiatives as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Design and Development:
    Develop, implement, and oversee the Apprenticeship Program for Housing Facilities, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and industry standards.
  • Program Management:
    Manage the Apprenticeship Program for Housing Facilities and other related programs including the day-to-day operational and annual program modifications.
  • Career Progression and Workforce Development:
    Collaborate with the Director of Facilities Operations and SAAS Human Resources to establish clear pathways for career progression within facilities operations.
  • Administrative and Operational Oversight:
    Monitor and evaluate progress of the overall program as well as employees by tracking, documenting, and preparing appropriate reports.
  • Employee Development and Feedback:
    Provide ongoing mentorship and support to program participants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
