Overview
Provides instruction including hands-on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development. Prepares and maintains current course syllabi for courses taught. Ensures that courses are taught in accordance with the established syllabi. May teach in the day, evening, on-campus, as well as alternate delivery methods (internet, hybrid, etc.).
LocationThis position is located on the Midlands Technical College Airport Campus
Qualifications- Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field
- Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare facility
- Current certification as a CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT)
- Must be credentialed in Medical Assisting by an organization whose credentialing exam is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
