Position DescriptionAssist professor (neuropsychology) on a 9‑month, full‑time, tenure‑track appointment beginning August 16, 2026.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop an independent and externally funded research program in neuropsychology.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses (two courses per semester).
- Supervise graduate research within the APA‑accredited Clinical‑Community and/or School Psychology doctoral programs.
- Contribute to departmental, college, and university service.
Education and Experience
Ph.D. in Neuropsychology or a related field, evidence of a strong research record or potential for impactful scholarship by the start date, and license or eligibility to license as a psychologist in South Carolina within one year of appointment (board certification or eligibility in clinical neuropsychology preferred).
Preferred Qualifications- Research that bridges brain and behavior, including cognitive neuroscience, clinical neuropsychology, developmental neuropsychology, or lifespan neurocognitive functioning.
- Studies that complement or expand existing departmental strengths and foster collaborations with institutional centers and institutes.
