Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available at an elementary school in Clover, SC, specializing in a preschool autism class. This role involves teaching a class composed of 12 to 13 students in grades 4K, 5K, and 1st grade who attend full days. The class benefits from the support of two teacher assistants, and some students require toileting assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique learning needs.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with autism in a preschool setting.
• Collaborate closely with teacher assistants to ensure a supportive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction methods accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with parents and school staff regarding student development.
• Support students with personal care needs, including toileting assistance.
