Elementary School Teacher for grades 4-6 for the  school year.

Contract:

190 days. Must hold a valid South Carolina Teacher Certificate/License or be anticipating one. Reports to the Principal. Position open until filled.

• Possess strong background in literacy instruction.
• Plan, prepare, and create lesson plans that reflect established curriculum and state standards.
• Provide quality instruction based on curriculum and state standards.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Display a commitment to learning for all students.
• Implement differentiated instruction and instructional strategies that reflect best practices.
• Create a positive educational climate for students.
• Meet course and school-wide student performance goals.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions and professional development.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date gradebook via Power School.
• Observe and evaluate student performance.
• Collaborate in grade-level teams to discuss student work and share best practices.
• Work with program coordinators to ensure initiatives are met.
• Prepare and distribute required reports.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom using approved disciplinary procedures.
• Establish ongoing communication with parents and guardians about student performance and progress.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
• Must have a valid SC Teacher Certificate/License or anticipate obtaining one.

All applicants must provide three references, at least two of whom should be current or previous supervisors.

Full‑Time
