Starting Wage$15.47 per hour
Hours2-2.5 hours per day, varied days per week, as needed
Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with children of all ages
- Ability to demonstrate mature judgment, reliability, availability and ethical behavior, including punctuality and confidentiality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long durations of time and walk around large areas
- Monitor and supervise students during lunch and on the playground (inside and outside)
- Follow all procedures regarding student behavior as determined by each building administrator
- Maintain a clean environment for student lunches
- Assist students with lunches
- Assist students with appropriate clothing for outdoor wear
- Establish and maintain a safe environment for all students
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities designated by the supervisor or building administrator; clean areas used for student lunches
Physical Demands:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. The employee is frequently required to reach with arms and hands, stand, walk, and sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate but distractions can be frequent due to building traffic.
Mental Functions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to compare, analyze, communicate both orally and in writing, copy, coordinate, instruct, compute, synthesize, evaluate, use interpersonal skills, compile, and negotiate.
