Surgical Technology Adjunct Instructor
Tri County Technical College Health Sciences Division seeks collaborative, energetic, and innovative Surgical Technology Adjunct Instructors.
Responsibilities- Report to the Department Head of Health Professions.
- Teach courses using systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program.
- Maintain records of student academic progress and attendance.
- Evaluate level of student achievement and assign grades.
- Conduct teaching assignments on-campus and at various clinical sites in the greater tri‑county area.
- Must be qualified by education and experience in surgical technology.
- Must possess a credential in the field of surgical technology through a national certification program accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies.
- Minimum total of two years experience within the last five years, either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both.
- Preference given to candidates with experience as an instructor in surgical technology.
- Role starts part‑time, non‑benefited, for the Fall 2026 semester (August 10 – December 2026).
