Adjunct Professor - Cardiovascular Sonography

This is an adjunct professor position for a Cardiovascular Sonography scan lab instructor with the possibility to teach lecture courses in future semesters, as needed. The faculty member functions under the direct supervision of the Corporate and Continuing Educations (CCE) Sonography Program Director. The instructor guides students through proper exam protocol and technique, and proper care of ultrasound equipment. Students are graded with practical and written exams.

The instructor is responsible for preparing syllabus and lesson plans, creating practicum and written exams, grading, student performance evaluations, and other administrative tasks associated with teaching. The instructor must be organized, prepared, and student‑centered to meet the standards of the college.

Scan lab is an in‑person course held at the Midlands Technical Airport Campus; classes take place during weekdays only.

This position is located on the Midlands Technical Airport Campus.

• Board registered in echocardiography and vascular sonography.
• Minimum of two years working experience.
• Driver's license required.
• Previous instructor or clinical teaching experience preferred.
