Job Overview
Tri-County Technical College Arts and Sciences Division seeks adjunct faculty to teach courses, maintain records, evaluate student achievement, and assign grades. Adjunct faculty may teach up to 12 credit hours or 21 contact hours per term, including day and evening, online or hybrid, across multiple campuses.
Responsibilities- Teach assigned courses using systematically planned instruction.
- Maintain records of student academic progress and attendance.
- Evaluate student performance and assign grades.
- Participate in academic meetings and professional development as required.
- Master's degree in English or a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in discipline-specific courses.
- Preference for applicants with community college teaching experience, active and collaborative learning strategies, innovative assessment implementation, and a demonstrated record of regular professional development.
- Ability to teach during various time slots and formats.
Start date:
Beginning of the Fall 2026 semester (August 2026). Finalists subject to criminal background screening and reference checks.
