Instructor - General Chemistry/Forensic Science/Carolina Core Chemistry

Full‑time, professional‑track faculty position (Instructor), 9‑month appointment beginning August 16 2025.

• Teach four courses per semester (eight courses per appointment) in general chemistry, forensic science, or related subjects.
• Supply chemicals and instrumentation for laboratory courses.
• Provide support to lecture or lab programs as necessary.

• Master’s degree in chemistry or forensic science.
• At least six semesters teaching undergraduate courses (as a graduate teaching assistant or instructor of record) in general chemistry, forensic science, organic chemistry, or chemistry for non‑science majors.

• Ph.D. in chemistry, forensic science, or a closely related discipline.
• Evidence of potential for excellence in teaching.
