Residence Life Coordinator
The Residence Life Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the residence life program by supervising residence hall operations and staff, coordinating programs that foster personal wellness and community development among student residents.
Primary Duties- Supervision of Resident Assistant staff
- Support for student learning and development
- Residential program development and implementation
- Administration and building management
- Crisis management
- Student counseling
- Advising student groups
- Health and Life Insurance
- Retirement Programs
- Paid Tuition
- 13 Paid Holidays (including an extended December holiday)
- Professional Development Opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of job‑related experience (or an equivalent combination of certification, training, or experience)
- Master’s degree in Student Personnel, Higher Education, Counseling or related field (preferred)
- Prior residence hall experience (preferred)
- Teaching experience (preferred)
- Pending graduate if degree is received by start date (eligible)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Training and teaching abilities in a work setting
- Interpersonal relationship skills and sincere concern for others
- Ability to organize and work with student groups, formal and informal
- Managerial skills, including organization and supervision of staff
- Ability to work with faculty, parents, and other staff
- Successful completion of required criminal background check
