Adjunct English Instructor
Responsibilities of the Adjunct English Instructor include, but are not limited to, teaching varying schedules utilizing technology, and using a variety of teaching methods in instruction. You must include a copy of your transcripts and certifications along with your application. Class schedules will vary from semester to semester. Classes may meet in the daytime, evenings, weekends, or online. Faculty may be asked to work a split schedule (morning and evening classes) as well as teach dual enrollment courses in assigned high schools.
Faculty may be asked to instruct in local prisons. This position is needed for face-to-face instruction. This position may be needed at the Cheraw, Dillon, or Marlboro Campus.
Minimum and additional requirements include a master's degree in a related discipline or a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in a related discipline. Must have a valid driver's license.
Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience, especially at the community and technical college or secondary level.
This position could require teaching in both the State and Federal Correctional Institutions. This position will require teaching at the Cheraw, Dillon, and Marlboro Campuses.
