Welding Instructor
Trident Technical College, North Charleston, SC
- Thornley Campus.
Day program: 7:00 a.m.
- 3:30 p.m. Evening program: M-F 2:30 p.m.
- 11:00 p.m.
Instructors will teach day and evening programs, covering entry-level through advanced classes in Gas Metal Arc Welding
- Pulse, oxyacetylene cutting, blueprint reading, metallurgy, welding safety, weld inspection, testing, and codes.
Hourly rate: $30 - $40 per hour.
ResponsibilitiesTeach day and evening welding programs, deliver curriculum for core welding courses and related subjects, ensure safety compliance, evaluate student performance, and maintain course materials.
Qualifications- Training or teaching experience in welding.
- Recent welding experience.
- Must pass certification tests for each welding process taught.
- Teaching/training experience and an associate degree in a related area preferred.
