Admissions Representative
This position will work at ECPI University’s Columbia, SC campus location.
Position SummaryThe Admissions Representative plays a key role in recruiting new students to ECPI University, serving as a recruiter, advisor, and guide to prospective students.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service to potential students through consistent outreach and follow‑up.
- Make outbound calls to prospective students who have expressed interest.
- Meet with potential students to explain program offerings and advise suitable programs aligned with their goals.
- Represent the university both on and off campus to prospective students, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Attend all admissions department meetings and training sessions.
- Accurately account for all inquiries and admissions activity; complete daily activity reports.
- Ensure that all enrollment paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain current and accurate reports in university systems.
- Adhere to ECPI University policies, State and Federal laws, and accrediting body regulations.
- Network and build strong relationships to generate referrals.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure student satisfaction.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of on‑campus events and programs.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of successful experience in sales, marketing, public relations, recruitment or a related field strongly preferred.
- 2–3 years of related experience including appointment setting, interviewing, relationship building, client services, and event coordination.
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills/Abilities
- Passionate about helping others achieve educational and career goals.
- Excellent customer service skills, including effective follow‑up.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with professional social media use.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
