Position Description Advertised Job Summary Under the general supervision of the Carolina LIFE Program Director and Assistant Director, the Program Support Coordinator supports the coordination day-to-day program operations, student supports, and employment programming while providing administrative and instructional support to advance the mission of Carolina LIFE. The Program Support Coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for interested and newly admitted students, families, faculty, employers, and campus partners;
supervises and supports student coaches; teaches a Carolina LIFE course; coordinates freshman employment experiences; monitors student progress; and assists with program events, communications, data management, and strategic initiatives. This position promotes student success through collaborative, student-centered support, professional leadership, and flexible assistance across all program areas.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required (Special Education or related field)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required (Special Education or related field), experience with Inclusive Post-Secondary Education programming. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to establish professional working relationships with students, parents, faculty, staff, employers, and the general public. Competent knowledge of inclusive programming, self-determination, model of typicality
