Special Education Teacher - Columbia, SC

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Previous experience in a multi-categorical or special education setting preferred
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for working with students of diverse abilities

• Develop and tailor lesson plans to meet individual needs within a multi-categorical classroom
• Maintain a caseload of 10 students, tracking progress and modifying instruction as necessary
• Collaborate with related services, general education teachers, and families
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
• Conduct ongoing assessments and document student growth and program effectiveness
