Description

American Traveler is hiring a Special Education Teacher for an elementary school setting, requiring a SC Multi-categorical certification and experience managing a caseload of students with support staff.

• Non-clinical elementary school setting serving 4th-6th grade students
• Special Education role with a Multi-categorical (MCC) caseload
• Caseload of 10 students (max 15) supported by 2 para-professionals
• Day shift schedule, 5 days per week, 7.5 hours per day (7:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
• 37.5 billable hours per week with a 30-minute lunch break
• Assignment runs through the end of the school year in May 2027

• SC Multi-categorical (MCC) certification required
• License required if applicable
• Resume required for consideration

• Manage a caseload of elementary students with multi-categorical special education needs
• Collaborate with 2 para-professionals to support student caseload
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
