Salary: $21,874 base salary (based on education and teacherassistant experience)
Location: Lamar-Spaulding Elementary School

School Year

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Qualifications:

Minimum of sixty (60) academic credit hours from an accredited
institution of higher education
or
An associate degree
(or higher)
OR
Item (1)
High School Diploma
or the equivalent
AND
Item (2) Ready to Work Credentials

- Copy of WIN Assessment minimum of Silver:
Level 4 or
higher

or

* Para Pro - Copy of passing score (minimum 456) on Para Pro,
the state approved academic assessment

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
:

• Provide classroom teaching assistance
• Provide supervision of students at all times
• Maintain a positive classroom environment
• Provide students with daily care (e.g. toileting, diapering, feeding, etc.) as needed or required
• Adhere to district dress code policies
• Maintain required confidentiality in regard to students and school records
• Positively supports all facets of student growth and development
• Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds
• Perform other duties as assigned
