High School Public Speaking and English Teacher

Ben Lippen High School is seeking a High School Public Speaking and English Teacher for the 2026-27 school year.

• Teach high school public speaking and English courses.
• Plan for instruction through the regular maintenance of course curriculum
• Implement assessments in each class to measure student learning and maintain a timely
• Attend faculty meetings and carry out assigned non-instructional
• Carry out other specific responsibilities as assigned by the High School

The ideal candidate for the high school public speaking and English teacher should possess:

• A bachelor's degree in English or a closely related field (an advanced degree is preferred).
• Two years of successful teaching experience.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively, teach with excellence, and be able to create an engaging, relational, and joy-filled learning environment for students. a clear desire and ability to teach in a student-centered, problem-based learning environment.
• Experience working in a diverse international community and strong cross-cultural skills.
• Excellence in planning, teamwork, and communication.
