• Valid South Carolina Special Education Teacher certification (SPED SC)
• Prior experience with K-8 learners, especially in multi-categorical or special education settings
• Enthusiasm for individualized instruction and adaptive teaching strategies
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaborating with paraprofessionals or support staff
• Strong communication skills for family and interdisciplinary teamwork

• Deliver engaging, evidence-based instruction tailored to diverse student needs
• Develop and implement IEPs, maintaining compliance with district and state requirements
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment promoting each childs development
• Assess, track, and report on student progressadjusting strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with support personnel and participate in school meetings as needed
