This is a full-time special education classroom placement within a supportive South Carolina district where you will work in one primary school setting for the full school year.

Teodora Health and Education is partnering with supportive school districts in the Walterboro area seeking a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year located in Walterboro, South Carolina, within the Low country region and in close proximity to Charleston.
Teachers are supported with IEP guidance, compliance assistance, and responsive communication throughout the assignment so you can focus on instruction and student progress.
Compensation- $45–$53 per hour
- $1,850–$2,000 weekly pay

- Full IEP and compliance support
- Responsive mentorship
- Develop and implement IEPs
- Deliver instruction in resource, push-in, pull-out, or co-teach settings
- Collaborate with school staff
- Maintain IDEA compliance
- Monitor student progress
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (preferred but not required)
- Active South Carolina license or eligibility
- Minimum 1 year classroom experience preferred
- Interview and credential review
