The faculty of the Department of Psychology at the University of South Carolina, Columbia campus, invites applications for a 9-month, full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 16, 2026.

• Ph.D. in Neuropsychology or related field and evidence of a strong research record or potential for impactful scholarship by the start date of the appointment
• Candidates must be licensed or license eligible as a psychologist in South Carolina within one year of the start date, with board certification or eligibility in clinical neuropsychology preferred

We welcome applicants whose research bridges brain and behavior, including cognitive neuroscience, clinical neuropsychology, developmental neuropsychology or lifespan neurocognitive functioning. Research that complements or expands existing departmental strengths, including collaborations with the university’s centers and institutes (e.g., Institute for Mind and Brain, McCausland Center for Brain Imaging, Carolina Autism and Neurodevelopment Research Center) is desired.
