Position: Special Education Teacher *Up to $52/hr
Location: Columbia

This is a 36-week contract position for a Special Education Teacher located in or near Columbia, South Carolina. The role offers competitive compensation and benefits, and provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create a positive learning environment.

Monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education or equivalent.
Valid South Carolina teaching certification in Special Education or equivalent certification.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a school setting, familiarity with special education methods and student needs.
Ability to pass background checks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Flexibility with scheduling.
Physical ability to meet the demands of a school environment.
