Boiler Tube Company of America (BTA) is in search of a talented Senior Designer to join our innovative engineering team in Lyman, SC. As a leader in providing boiler pressure part replacements, we pride ourselves on delivering customized solutions that ensure maximum efficiency and reliability for our clients' systems. The Senior Designer will be instrumental in creating detailed designs and engineering drawings for a wide range of boiler components, using advanced design software and methodologies.

Responsibilities
- Develop detailed designs and engineering drawings for boiler pressure parts and components using CAD software
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other designers to ensure design alignment with client specifications and project goals
- Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality outputs that meet industry standards
- Research and implement the latest design trends and technologies to enhance product offerings and processes
- Prepare and present design concepts and proposals to internal stakeholders and clients
- Maintain proper documentation and records of design processes, changes, and final approvals
- Mentor and guide junior designers to promote best practices and continuous improvement in design methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in design engineering, preferably in the boiler, manufacturing, or energy sector
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Works, or similar) and other design tools
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, pressure part design, and regulatory requirements
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively across departments
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
