Location: Westminster
Position Summary
The Applications and Design Engineer serves as a technical liaison between aerospace customers and RBC Aero Structures, translating customer requirements into manufacturable, cost‑effective designs that meet technical, schedule, and performance needs.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with aerospace and defense customers to develop flight and structural control rod solutions
- Review customer requirements and build‑to‑print designs for manufacturability
- Develop cost models and support business cases for new opportunities
- Create internal engineering drawings and technical proposals
- Define test plans to qualify products to customer and industry standards
- Support sales with technical expertise, presentations, and customer issue resolution
- Collaborate with manufacturing on production‑related engineering issues
- Contribute to new product development and intellectual property growth
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in mechanical design, drafting, or manufacturing methods preferred
