What we are seeking

The Reliability Engineer supports manufacturing operations by driving reliability, maintainability, and performance of assets, applying engineering best practices, and working cross‑functionally to reduce equipment un‑planned downtime to improve asset utilization.

  • Minimum of 5 years maintenance optimization experience, preferability within a high‑speed manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical problem‑solving skills: root cause analysis, Six Sigma/Lean, TPM, reliability modeling
  • Good understanding of CMMS, predictive maintenance technologies (vibration, thermography, ultrasonics, oil analysis),
  • Strong planning, organizational and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated competence in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally and at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multi‑task and prioritize.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality.
What you will do day to day
  • Oversee the facility repetitive, predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Develop schedules and strategies for maintenance to extend equipment life and prevent breakdowns.
  • Participate in new capital asset selection and oversee assets from installation to retirement to optimize performance and cost.
  • Maintain machine health status for critical/bottleneck assets and develop plans to bring assets to OEM conditions or plan for machine replacement.
  • Evaluate site data (asset performance, failure data) to predict performance and drive asset performance improvements at lowest cost.
  • Use Root Cause Analysis methodologies to analyze equipment breakdowns and develop lasting solutions to improve machine availability.
  • Effectively utilize CMMS to prioritize maintenance backlog to reduce unplanned downtime and optimize maintenance labor utilization.
  • Effectively utilize CMMS to maintain critical spares needed for repetitive, preventive and emergency maintenance.
  • Develop and track maintenance KPI’s (e.g. Planned vs Unplanned Maintenance hours)
  • Work with project teams: new and modified equipment installations, factory/site acceptance testing, early equipment management to ensure reliability is built in.
  • Provide technical support for operations, maintenance management and specialists.
  • Coach or influence technicians and frontline staff.
  • Performs additional duties as required.
