Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to assume the role of Continuous Improvement Intern in one of our US ETO locations for Summer
2026
.
The qualified candidate will be working under the direction of the Front End Industrial Performance Leader to implement Lean improvement projects centered on project engineering that achieve the goals of our Schneider Production System (SPS). Please note, visa sponsorship or relocation will not be provided for this role, but we accept all student visas (CPT).
Responsibilities- Work closely with Project Engineering and other groups within the Middle Office to achieve the goals of the Schneider Performance System (SPS).
- Facilitate continuous improvement actions within the teams.
- Ensure improvement of efficiency/productivity via development of KPI tracking.
- Develop standard practices and digital tools.
- Lead project deployment to NAM ETO Project Engineering teams.
- Are actively pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Possess leadership qualities and the ability to facilitate conflicts.
- Are self-motivated and self-directed with a sense of urgency.
- Have a solid work ethic – honors responsibility and commitment.
- Have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
- Possess excellent communication and team collaboration skills (English language).
- Possess proven ability to achieve results.
- Have exceptional leadership, interpersonal, problem solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Have the ability to set overall priorities and form action plans to implement and monitor for results.
- Exposure to cross‑functional teams
- The ability to job shadow and grow your network across the organization
- Consideration for full‑time internal opportunities post‑graduation
