We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Engineering Manager to lead multi‑disciplinary engineering activities across capital projects from early concept through execution and start‑up. This role is critical to delivering technically robust, cost‑effective, and execution‑ready projects aligned with business objectives.
Operating within an Owner’s Team model, the Engineering Manager will provide leadership across engineering disciplines while ensuring integration with project management, procurement, construction, and operations. The successful candidate will bring strong technical depth, structured project execution, and the ability to lead teams in a fast‑paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead engineering activities across all project phases, including concept development, feasibility studies (FEL‑1/2/3), detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Manage and coordinate multi‑disciplinary engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, civil/structural, process, and others) to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Serve as the engineering lead within the Owner’s Team, overseeing external engineering partners (EP, EPC, EPCM), consultants, and vendors.
- Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resource plans in collaboration with Project Management and Project Controls.
- Define and maintain engineering standards, design criteria, technical specifications, and deliverables across all disciplines.
- Lead process and plant design activities, including equipment selection, system integration, and technical evaluations.
- Ensure engineering deliverables meet requirements for safety, operability, maintainability, constructability, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct and lead design reviews, HAZOPs, constructability assessments, value engineering sessions, and risk analyses.
- Support procurement activities, including technical bid evaluations, vendor selection, and contract recommendations.
- Manage engineering change control, ensuring impacts to cost, schedule, and performance are evaluated and communicated.
