Senior Engineer - Accessories, Product Service Americas

Job Overview

The role is responsible for mentoring and providing direct technical support to global power plants equipped with GE Vernova equipment. The position supports three main work streams: resolving complex accessory system inquiries, leading root cause analysis investigations, and delivering GE Vernova technical guidance to customers.

• Apply system knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve various power plant accessory system issues, and provide technical mentorship and methodologies to colleagues.
• Own and resolve ER technical inquiries with urgency and limited direction.
• Develop technical expertise across a broad range of accessory systems and plant equipment.
• Drive complex RCAs through root cause and corrective action while communicating internally and externally.
• Identify trending issues and provide countermeasures to protect customers’ fleet.
• Assist and mentor team members in achieving personal development goals.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for timely technical resolutions.

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of direct experience with GE Vernova/Alstom accessory and/or power plant systems.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as necessary.

• Comfort with tackling unfamiliar technical problems and willingness to mentor engineers.
• Strong communication skills at all levels, including field engineers and leadership.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities across multiple projects.
• Humble, open, collaborative, and continuously learning approach.
