Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including  
** Associate (Level
2), Experienced (Level
3) or Senior (Level
4) Airplane Equipment Installation Design Engineer.*
* *
* Primary Responsibilities:

*
* + Develops and maintains basic electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas).

+ Develops and maintains basic cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Assists with engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).

+ Follows documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.

+ Collects data to support the development of statements of work.

+ Assists in data gathering of supplier capabilities.

+ Reviews functional and physical input used in the development of integrated design and system architecture.

+ Individual shall be able to work under general direction

** Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):*
* + Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Mechanical , Aeronautical or Electrical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.

+ 2+ years of experience with wire design/wire harness installation and/or equipment installation.

+ 2+ years of experience working with computer aided design (CAD) such as CATIA, Solidworks, Siemens, NX.

** Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):*
* +  
** Level 3** : 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

+  
** Level 4** : 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Experience in Model-Based Definition (CATIA V5 or higher, Solidworks, Siemens, NX), ENOVIA, and PDM

+ Experience using all the Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

+ Ability to quickly adapt to program tools and procedures

+ Knowledge and ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings.

+ Skill and ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
