Job Description
We are currently seeking a Structural Designer to support the design and detailing of bridge engineering projects. This role is responsible for preparing design plans for review by senior structural designers or engineers, ultimately producing plans ready for bid and construction. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, technically skilled, and comfortable working both independently and within a team environment. We are looking for someone who not only brings technical expertise but also a passion for collaboration.

- Develop/design horizontal bridge layouts using Micro Station or Open Bridge Modeler
- Prepare detailed structural element drawings in Micro Station or Open Bridge Modeler
- Produce complete, high‑quality plan sets with minimal supervision
- Perform quantity calculations and vertical geometry computations
- Associate Degree in Civil Technology or related field and 4+ years of experience; or High School Diploma/equivalent with at least 7+ years of structural detailing experience
- Experience with Bentley Systems software such as Micro Station and Open Bridge Modeler
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment
