On-Site (5 days)

As a Manufacturing Engineer your role is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining production processes to drive quality and efficiency and to develop manufacturing plans which improve operations competitiveness.

• Develop and define concepts and manufacturing processes for, and as an integral part of, all new product introductions and product enhancement programs, using advanced engineering techniques such as DFM / DFA (Design for Manufacturability and Assembly), FMEA, 3P (Production, Preparation Process), 7‑Ways, and Lean Six Sigma Methodology
• Assumes responsibility for Capital planning, CER creations and Approvals, Capital Project Timing and Implementation, Capital Spending and Budgeting/ Assumes responsibility for Plant VA/VE Savings
• Ensures all equipment meets OSHA compliant safety regulations
• Drives engineering principles and discipline through mentoring, training and project reviews including: PFMEA, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Dynamic Control Plans (DCP), Lean Tools, Project Management and Simultaneous Engineering
• Manages, develops and improves manufacturing standards including machine capability and capacity, process maps, set‑ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings and cycle times.

• Bachelor's Engineering Degree required
• 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Qualified candidate must possess excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Experience with lean principles and techniques to include Visual Management, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Cycle Time Reduction and Process Balancing, Yokoten, 5S, Set Up Reduction (SMED), and Kanban.
• Strong analytic skills, with ability to clearly link operational performance drivers to financial results.
• PLC Programming and Automation knowledge is a plus.

• Ability to utilize engineering principles to develop robust manufacturing processes the first time.
• Ability to use such management‑leadership techniques such as; project mgt., objective development and project review disciplines.
• Fluent knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering, assembly and quality control processes.
• Strong leadership skills to drive engineering principles and processes.
• Understanding of Lean, 3P, Kaizen and Six Sigma programs.
• Knowledge of new model launch requirements and processes to ensure flawless launch goals.

• Experience in 2D/3D Modeling software (AutoCAD, Pro‑E) is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Requires cross functional communication, simultaneous engineering and reporting.
• Ability to resolve multiple conflicts between widely varying personalities.
• Ability to guide and lead non-technical & technical personnel to technical solutions.
• Demonstrated implementation of root cause analysis and solutions.
