We’re looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead capital projects, equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives within a heavy industrial manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities- Lead projects from design through fabrication, FAT, commissioning, and operation
. - Manage capital projects ranging from $50K–$5M
. - Provide hands‑on mechanical engineering and troubleshooting support.
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
- Develop designs and drawings using Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Mechanical & Vault
. - Manage BOMs, risk assessments, and safety improvements
. - Support equipment startup and commissioning.
- Heavy industrial/manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience with Autodesk Vault
. - Capital project management experience up to $5M
. - Hands‑on FAT, startup & commissioning experience.
- Strong mechanical design, project management, and problem‑solving skills.
