Retail Banker I is a customer liaison integral to delivering TD’s brand promise by utilizing financial expertise and consultative advice to assist customers with their banking solutions and needs.

• Deliver legendary customer service by building relationships and providing consultative support.
• Identify opportunities to educate customers on bank products and services.
• Make product recommendations based on customer needs and highlight benefits.
• Use customer relationship management tools to drive outbound sales activities.
• Resolve customer issues and errors, escalating when necessary.
• Participate in customer outreach, servicing and advice activities.
• Engage in conversations about loan products and facilitate application intake.
• Perform teller transactions (check cashing, deposits, transfers, withdrawals) while monitoring fraud and adhering to policies.
• Maintain active registration status with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry).

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of customer or sales experience (volunteer, education, military acceptable).
• Preferred: teller experience and sales experience.
• Ability to complete teller training on hire.
• Strong communication, organization, scheduling and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Notary license preferred.

• Proficiency in products, services, routine transactions and full product suite knowledge.
• Understanding of bank services, processes, and operational policies.

• Eligible for employment with a covered financial institution under Regulation Z.
• Eligible for registration as a registered mortgage loan originator with NMLS.
• Pass criminal background and credit report checks.
• Compliance with Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, Bank Code of Conduct, and other regulations.
