Location: Columbia

We are partnering with a growing global manufacturing company to identify a Finance Manager to support multiple manufacturing operations. This individual will serve as a strategic business partner to operations leadership and oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory, and operational performance.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on finance leader who enjoys partnering with the business, influencing strategy, and making a measurable impact within a collaborative manufacturing environment.

This is a full-time, onsite position in Laurens County, SC.

Essential Duties & Functions
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning across multiple manufacturing locations.
  • Analyze budget-to-actual financial results and provide actionable recommendations to operations and executive leadership.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support capacity planning, capital investments, profitability analysis, and strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with operations leadership to drive manufacturing efficiency, cost transparency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee standard cost development, product costing, inventory valuation, and cost variance analysis for materials, labor, and overhead.
  • Monitor inventory performance, including management of obsolete inventory and inventory accuracy.
  • Support strategic business initiatives, operational improvement projects, and manufacturing footprint decisions through financial analysis.
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and audit requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted financial business partner to operations while providing leadership, development, and guidance to finance team members across multiple locations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive finance or accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, standard cost accounting, and internal control principles.
  • Experience working within an ERP system is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting manufacturing operations through financial planning, costing, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs, operational metrics, and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication and business partnering skills with the ability to translate financial information into operational insights.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across functional teams and influence decision-making at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Hands‑on, detail-oriented professional with a continuous improvement mindset.
