The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at UBS, located in Columbia, SC. UBS is a leading global wealth manager and the top universal bank in Switzerland, also offering diversified asset management solutions and focused investment banking capabilities across more than 50 markets. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable industry insight, develop new skills, and establish professional contacts by working with experts on projects that impact clients within a WMA branch office.
You will become part of a team dedicated to providing advice-based solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families.

In-person, Columbia, SC - Pay: $20 hourly
- Team:
Within a WMA branch office providing advice-based solutions to ultra-high net worth and high-net worth individuals and families. - Mission:
To support wealth management experts and contribute to projects that have real impact on clients, while gaining industry insight and developing professional skills.
- Project Contribution:
Work on projects that directly influence client outcomes. - Team Support:
Provide assistance to wealth management experts. - Industry Insight:
Attend presentations from WMA leaders to understand the industry, culture, and strategy. - Product
Education:
Acquire product knowledge from internal and external partner sessions to aid the team. - Business Operations:
Assist with the responsibilities involved in operating an entrepreneurial business model.
- Background:
Entry-Level. Must be enrolled in a two or four-year college or university, with a genuine interest in developing a career in Wealth Management. - Experience:
A balanced resume demonstrating solid academic performance and active campus involvement. - Skills:
Analyze problems, generate ideas and make sound decisions; plan and organize and execute tasks effectively; communicate clearly and collaborate within the team environment; demonstrate perseverance and commit to completing tasks. - Bonus:
Evidence of achievements such as participating in team sports, organizing volunteer projects, or excelling in challenging academic courses.
