Start your Voyage – Apply Now Get to Know the Opportunity: Voya is searching for a Corporate Accountant to join our Benefitfocus Accounting Operations team. This role will apply generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to review customer contracts, prepare and enter contract information, prepare journal entries, and compile and analyze revenue information for management.
The Contributions You'll Make:
- Contributes to financial close cycles
- Researches financial reports fluxes on a monthly basis.
- Preparation of monthly journal entries.
- Reviews customer contracts for proper set up in Oracle.
- Updated manual subledgers and performs GL reconciliations.
- Shares knowledge with others including recommending process improvements and automation.
- Able to manage multiple, often competing priorities.
- Assists with special projects as directed by Manager.
Experience:
- BS degree in accounting
- Minimum 2 years accounting experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of accounting principles including ASC 606
- Advanced Excel Skills (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query a plus)

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. $85,000 - $100,000 Be Well. Stay Well.
