Position
Purpose:
The Financial Analyst II will compile and analyze financial information integral to the core objectives and requirements of each department.
- Responsible for consolidating reports, month-end journal entries, audit requests, scheduling, reoccurring meetings and providing regular system maintenance for companies various manufacturing locations across North America.
- Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations of business units
- Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual business unit reports and ensures that financial information has been recorded accurately.
- Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to manager.
- Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
- Any and all financial analyst related tasks as directed by supervisor
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles
- Supports cost accounting activities, including inventory analysis, manufacturing cost reporting, variance analysis, and reconciliation of cost-related accounts across manufacturing locations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including excellent Excel skills and a proven ability to build complex financial models
- Proficiency in Consolidation and ERP softwares, such as LV and JDE, preferred
- Knowledge of Cost Accounting Systems, preferred
- Experience with SQL, preferred
- Must be results and deadline oriented with an ability to manage multiple assignments and work extended hours as dictated by the workload
- A strong desire to professionally grow and the ability to enthusiastically embrace new challenges
- Must be a team player with an ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
