The Chief Financial Officer provides leadership and strategic direction for the Finance and Patient Accounts/Billing services of LRADAC. As a member of the executive leadership team, this position serves as responsible party for developing and monitoring the agency budget, oversees patient billing, serves as agency finance liaison with funding agencies, reviews contractual arrangements, completes preparation for annual financial audit, and develops and monitors the agency long-range financial plan.

The CFO is also the staff representative to the Board of Finance Committee and provides expertise and assistance to other 301 system agencies.

Position Logistics

• Full-time (37.5 hours work week) routinely between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm Monday - Friday
• Primary in-office location is 2711 Colonial Drive with travel needed to other facilities and/or community partners as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and seven (7) years of related experience OR Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with five (5) years of related experience. Related experience includes:
  Compliance with accounting policies; financial statement reporting; budget development; grants management. Other educational fields of study may be considered with related experience.
• At least four (4) years of people management experience including direct responsibility for hiring, firing, and performance management.
• Experience in the non-profit or governmental accounting highly preferred.
• Experience with medical billing preferred

Position Overview

Serve as Chief Financial Officer of LRADAC, LRADAC Foundation and Brighter Future Employment Services (50%)

• Oversee the Finance Division for the agency including operational duties, budgetary responsibilities and serving as the financial liaison for the agency.
• Supervise all accounting functions of the agency including preparation of general ledger closing entries monthly and annually.
• Ensure compliance with all internal control mechanisms, generally accepted accounting principles, and LRADAC accounting policies.
• Oversee and provide backup for all accounting functions including but not limited to payroll, check preparation, cash management and monthly management reports.
