Summary Description Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina seeks an Associate Actuary for its Columbia, SC location. This position is not eligible for sponsorship now or in the future. What You’ll Do

Compiles actuarial reports.
Performs analysis and determination of risk levels and rates.
Reviews rating bureau changes.
Prepares rate filings.
Determines bulk loss and loss expense reserves for reported/unreported liabilities.
Reviews various methodologies used to promulgate reserves.

To Qualify For This Position, You'll Need The Following

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or Economics; foreign equivalent accepted.
Must have attained one of the following: FCAS, ASA, or ACAS designation.

We Prefer That You Have The Following

12 months experience as an Actuary.
