Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position for a Stormwater Compliance Specialist I (EHM I), located in the Columbia, South Carolina Metropolitan Area. The responsibilities include ensuring stormwater regulatory compliance, conducting inspections, and analyzing environmental conditions. The role also involves preparing compliance reports, providing technical guidance, and maintaining thorough communication with multiple stakeholders regarding stormwater regulations and best practices.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge of Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance
- Proficiency in Legal Compliance practices and Analytical Skills
- Excellent Communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders effectively
- Ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Experience in stormwater management or similar regulatory field is beneficial
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
