Job Responsibilities

THIS IS AN INTERNAL POSTING ONLY.

This position is located within the South Carolina Office of Resilience Mitigation Department. The Infrastructure Program Coordinator II assists the internal Mitigation Infrastructure Team to successfully administer a dynamic federally funded HUD 12-year program, an ARPA 6-year program, and state-funded mitigation projects. The Program Coordinator II engages with state and local government agencies to ensure projects are compliant with established policies and aligns with the US HUD, US Department of Treasury, and/or state regulations and requirements, and SCOR Policies and Procedures.

Job duties of this position include but are not limited to the following:

* Assist Project Managers to evaluate project eligibility for federal and/or state funded programs;
Monitor awarded projects for compliance with program requirements and agency policies.

* Assist Project Managers with project scope, budget, schedule and invoicing reconciliation.

* Develop and maintain project database and milestones; track key performance indicators, record project data in system of record.

* Prepare program/project reports;
Review and develop public outreach and education materials.

* Create and brief program presentations to the public and legislators. Possess the ability to articulate and summarize complex projects in public forums.

* Assist Program Manager, Environmental Program Manager and Mitigation Engineer with environmental review and compliance.

* Perform all other duties as required/assigned.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Knowledge of SCOR's mission, programs, and objectives.

* Knowledge of HUD CDBG-MIT, APRA SLFRF and State-Funded grant requirements, stormwater and nature-based resiliency measures, and project management preferred.

* Ability to communicate effectively, make presentations and prepare reports, and organize and maintain project file systems required.

* Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
