Overview
The Program Coordinator II role manages and implements federal grant programs including the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program and Byrne State Crisis Intervention Program for the Office of Highway Safety and Justice Programs in South Carolina. The position involves grant management, subgrantee oversight, strategic planning, federal compliance reporting, and coordination of statewide justice initiatives. The coordinator will conduct monitoring reviews, provide technical assistance, and develop funding strategies while working with state and local criminal justice agencies.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree and four years of progressively responsible program or administrative experience in a related field
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of research techniques, data analysis, and federal grant principles
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with Microsoft Office software and ability to speak effectively in public settings
- Experience in criminal justice preferred
