Location: Little River
McLeod Health - - - Responsibilities:
Maintains oversight of hospital medication storage across the pharmacy, ADCs, and off-site locations with a non-dispensing drug outlet permit.;
Monitors drug usage, notifies purchasing of par level changes, and quarantines expired medications.;
Optimizes Pyxis machine inventory and adjusts par levels based on stockouts in collaboration with supervising pharmacist.;
Accurately prepares Compounded Sterile Products following USP 797 and 800 guidelines and compounded non-sterile products following USP 795.;
Performs technician checks of medications for refills and IV orders, including IV batch processing.
