Position Summary
Provides comprehensive patient care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and administering other programs developed by Walmart in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations. Drives sales and profit in the Pharmacy and OTC areas by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing in store and inventory levels, budgeting and forecasting sales, developing and maintaining cross‑functional relationships, and assessing economic trends and demographics.
Models, enforces, and provides direction to associates on proper customer‑service approaches to ensure needs, complaints, and issues are resolved within company guidelines. Oversees community outreach and encourages associates to serve as good community members. Ensures compliance with company and legal policies, implements loss prevention and safety controls, conducts quality assurance reviews, and develops action plans to execute company programs. Provides supervisory development opportunities, offers performance feedback, and promotes a belonging mindset.
Manages pharmacy operations to align with HIPAA, SOP, and QA policies, and ensures proper inventory flow and financial management practices. Creates a culture of patient safety, ensures SOP compliance, and fosters an environment of high‑performance teamwork.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm
D, degree, or equivalent FPGEC (NABP). - Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
- U.S. pharmacy related experience.
