About the role
The Medical Assistant part-time performs multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized patient-centered approach to patient care and achieve desired outcomes. Candidate will assist in a combination of clinical and administrative task. Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the Nurse Practitioner.
What you'll do- Interview patients and measure vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height).
- Record or input information into patients' medical records.
- Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients.
- Assist Nurse Practitioner with virtual visitations.
- Schedule appointments.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Minimum
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. - Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- One year of patient care experience is preferred.
