The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides comprehensive speech and language services to students with communication disorders that impact their educational performance. Working collaboratively with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams, the SLP evaluates, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders while helping students achieve their academic, social, and communication goals.
Primary Responsibilities- Conducting speech and language evaluations
- Interpreting assessment results
- Preparing comprehensive reports
- Determining eligibility for special education services
- Participating in eligibility, multidisciplinary, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing direct and indirect therapy services
- Monitoring student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Collaborating with educators and families to support communication skills across educational settings
- Consulting with staff regarding classroom accommodations and intervention strategies
- Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Participating in professional development activities to remain current with best practices
- Qualified candidates will possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and hold a valid state license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or be eligible to complete a Clinical Fellowship (CFY), as applicable.
- Candidates should have strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and special education regulations, along with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting and bilingual abilities are preferred but not required.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
