Job Duties- 35% - Duties will include subject recruitment, data entry, routine data management tracking, and general administrative support for the research team. Conducts and/or documents consent for participants in minimal risk studies. May conduct consent for studies greater than minimal risk under direct supervision.
- 30% - The program Coordinator will review patient medical records to identify subjects who qualify for actively enrolling studies. Program Coordinator will interview qualifying patients, fully explain details of the research studies, and enroll interested patients under minimal supervision.
- 20% - Program Coordinator will coordinate the distribution of research materials and will keep accurate records. The applicant will directly interact with site personnel and principal investigators, thereby requiring effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- 15% - This individual will conduct assessments of study patients per study protocol.
- Incumbent must have a proven track record of detail‑orientation and high level of accuracy.
- Must be fluent in using computer data management software, such as Microsoft Office.
- Maintains current and long‑term follow-up data on all assigned study subjects.
- Conducts assessments (e.g. measurement of vital signs, spirometry, phlebotomy) of study subject per protocol.
- As part of research team, attends meetings and coordinates work schedule as required.
- Coordinates the reporting of adverse events to appropriate entity.
- Assists with IRB or sponsor audits or monitoring visits, as required.
- Supports other Program Assistants and Program Coordinators, as needed.
- Detail‑oriented with high level of accuracy.
- Ability to exercise judgment and discretion.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.

A bachelor's degree and one year of relevant program experience.
