Pediatric Therapy Associates is actively hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary team in Lexington, South Carolina. We are looking for a compassionate, energetic therapist who wants to help children develop the skills they need to become more independent and successful at home, school, and in their community. Experienced pediatric OTs and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications Required
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current Occupational Therapist license in South Carolina or eligibility to obtain South Carolina licensure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary pediatric team
  • Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful functional goals
  • Preferred – But Not Required

Previous pediatric occupational therapy experience

Experience
  • Experience in an outpatient pediatric therapy setting
  • Experience with sensory integration, developmental disabilities, fine motor development, or ADL training

New graduate Occupational Therapists are encouraged to apply. Our mentorship program is designed to help new clinicians develop confidence and clinical skills during their first year of practice.

About the Position

As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will evaluate and treat children with a variety of developmental and functional needs. Our therapists work closely with children, parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans designed to improve independence and participation in everyday activities. Our pediatric population includes children and young adults from birth through age 21.

  • Fine motor development
  • Gross and sensory-motor integration
  • Sensory processing and regulation
  • Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Self-care skills
  • Visual-motor and visual-perceptual skills
