Off The Block Performance Physical Therapy is a concierge-style sports and fitness-focused practice at 315 E Main St Central SC. The team provides world-class return-to-sport programs for athletes of all ages and levels recovering from injury or surgery. The practice also offers specialized pelvic floor rehabilitation for individuals who are pre-natal, postpartum, or experiencing sexual dysfunction, urinary incontinence, or pelvic pain that affects daily life or fitness activities.
In addition to physical therapy services, Off The Block is expanding into precision nutrition coaching for performance, weight management, and overall health improvement.
This is a full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role based in Central, SC. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions focused on sports performance, injury recovery, and functional movement. Daily responsibilities include providing one-on-one patient care, documenting assessments and progress, coordinating care plans, and educating patients on exercise, injury prevention, and long-term wellness strategies. The role also involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including pelvic floor specialists and nutrition coaches, to support comprehensive health and performance outcomes.
Qualifications- Strong foundation in sports Medicine and Physical Therapy, with the ability to apply clinical knowledge to sports and performance-based care.
- Expertise in Rehabilitation, including return-to-sport programming and pelvic floor rehabilitation.
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality Patient Care, emphasizing individualized treatment and clear communication.
- Experience or comfort with Home Care planning and patient education for ongoing self-management.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program; current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina.
- Experience in orthopedic, sports, or performance physical therapy; pelvic floor therapy experience is highly beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build trust with patients of diverse backgrounds, and collaborative approach to working with a multidisciplinary team.
- Interest in health, fitness, and performance optimization, with willingness to stay current on best practices and continuing education.
